After a chance run in with Laura Smestad-Berry, MS, CSCS on my hall duty and a brief conversation, I decided I needed to be serious about my health and make a change. I started training with Laura a little over a year ago after I decided to get back into a work out regime. I had been seriously injured by my previous trainer and was nervous. Laura listened to my concerns and really worked with me to create a plan that would prevent something like that from happening again. Her workouts are exclusive from person to person which helps you o achieve a wide range of goal at any age or fitness level. The meal planning guidance has been a great addition as well!!!! When I first met Laura to find out about personal training with her, I had just turned 40. I wanted to gain strength, lose some weight and I needed to have a plan that held me accountable to reach my goals. Laura was the perfect role model. She works out almost everyday, eats healthy, has the educational background and is a positive motivator.
