After a chance run in with Laura Smestad-Berry, MS, CSCS on my hall duty and a brief conversation, I decided I needed to be serious about my health and make a change. I was physically dragging and I was not mentally in a good place due to many challenges in my life. I needed change and to just start worrying about me. She helped me understand how to make a lifestyle change that is sustainable and never feeling like you are on a diet. (because you really aren't) I have a much healthier relationship with food and know how to sustainably eat better with the occasional bad meal here and there. With her guidance and help, I have gotten my health back I am also stronger than ever and just generally feel so much better every day.
I started training with Laura a little over a year ago after I decided to get back into a work out regime. I had been seriously injured by my previous trainer and was nervous. Laura listened to my concerns and really worked with me to create a plan that would prevent something like that from happening again. Her workouts are exclusive from person to person which helps you o achieve a wide range of goal at any age or fitness level. The meal planning guidance has been a great addition as well!!!! She has always been able to work around my fluctuating work schedule whether I needed mornings or later hours. I can't thank her enough for the confidence and knowledge that I have gained from working together!
